A silver membership is included with the Xbox 360 console; all you need is an internet connection to access exclusive game content. With a paid gold membership you get all of silver benefits plus much more. You could play online multiplayer game, enjoy video chat along text and voice chat, access to instant streaming from Netflix but of course with a monthly subscription fee for a month, 3 months or 12 months also known as Xbox live 12 month.

You could save more money when you buy Xbox live 12 month gold membership because you would get one month for free, so totally get 13 months for $50. This price is cheap enough if we compare to one month or 3 months membership fee. Let see then, you have to spend $7.99 for just a month and $6.66 for 3 months. Xbox 360 Red Lights - What Do They Mean?

Executive Summary by William Turner

xbox 360 three red lights

xbox 360 three red lights

The power button flashes red to indicate there is a problem with the console and there are four main problems that can occur. Have a look at the details below to find out what problem you have:

One flashing Xbox 360 red light: if you have one flashing red light then you probably also will have an error message on the screen. Normally this message is something like error E74, E73 etc…

Two flashing Xbox 360 red lights: if you have two red lights this means that your console has overheated and it isn’t necessarily very difficult to fix. All you need to do is vacuum all the dust out the side vents and this may well fix your Xbox as it can just be caused by a build up of dust in the System.

Three flashing Xbox 360 red lights: this is the most common error and also the most serious. This error happens because the GPU and the CPU have taken too much heat and the soldering has become loose and snapped off. You normally need to send this in to have it repaired by Microsoft or you can fix it yourself.

Four Xbox 360 Red Lights: This is normally nothing to worry about and if you check behind your Xbox you will probably find that the AV cable is unplugged and if you plug this in it will work for you.

How Do I Fix the Xbox 360 Red Lights?

If you are an owner of an Xbox 360 then hopefully you have not run into any problems with your console and even if you haven’t you have probably heard something of all the problems with the flashing red lights and hardware failures that this console has faced.

If you have got the flashing red lights on your console then one of your first questions will be “how can I permanently fix the Xbox 360 red lights?”, and that is what this article will tell you as well as what causes the problem in the first place. The Xbox 360 console has only got two fans on the back and they pull the air in to the console rather than push the hot air out.

The only problem with doing this is it is very expensive and also if you run into the same problem again you do not want to have to keep on forking out huge amounts of cash for a new console every time it happens.

In my opinion the best way to fix the Xbox 360 red lights error is to do it yourself as the only thing you need to do this is an Xbox 360 repair guide which is normally a collection of step by step videos and text guides with pictures that will show you how to stop the red lights occurring.
